About us

A Sarasota electrical contractor built on doing it properly.

Connect Electric started with one truck and a simple rule: never leave a job in a state we wouldn't accept in our own home. Eighteen years later, that rule still runs the company.

Who you're actually hiring

Every technician who shows up in a Connect Electric truck is a licensed journeyman or master electrician on our own payroll — background-checked, drug-tested, uniformed, and trained on current NEC and Florida code. We don't hand your job to a subcontractor we've never met.

We work under Florida certified electrical contractor license  EC13014712 and carry full general liability and workers' compensation coverage. Ask and we'll email you the certificates before we ever set foot on your property.

Most of our work comes from people who've hired us before, or their neighbors. That's the only marketing strategy we've ever really had.

Our standards

Four commitments we don't negotiate on.

Licensed & insured

Florida certified electrical contractor  EC13014712, fully insured with general liability and workers' comp. Certificates available on request.

Experienced electricians

Every tech on our trucks is a journeyman or master-level electrician with background checks — never day labor, never subcontracted out.

Safety first, always

Lockout/tagout on every job, arc-flash PPE, torque-verified terminations, and a full circuit test before we call a job done.

Quality you can inspect

Permits pulled, work labeled, panels photographed, and a written warranty on labor. If an inspector flags it, we fix it on us.

Safety is the job

Lockout/tagout on every circuit, arc-flash rated PPE, and verified de-energization before hands go in a panel. Nobody rushes electricity.

Trained, not improvised

Ongoing code training, manufacturer certifications for EV and surge equipment, and a lead electrician accountable for every job.

Quality you can see

Neat conduit, labeled breakers, torqued lugs, and photos of the finished panel handed to you with the invoice.
